"Algorithm-generated MIDIs using one-shot samples cut from Greatest Hutz Vol 1 and 2, made for the "Bonnerland: Sentience" soundtrack."
It is an absolute honor and privilege for us to bring you the soundtrack to anonymous Australian animator, director, and composer, Hutz', final installment of the Bonnerland (sometimes known as Hommer Simpson) series, Bonnerland: Sentience.
If you are familiar with the last release of theirs we did (Selected Cromulent Works, the William Drive Bus film soundtrack) and read the description, then you are probably already well aware of how huge of fans (stans?) we are of the work of Hutz and how long we've been infatuated with their creative endeavors, evolution, and process. Regardless of wether you were already aware or not, we feel inclined to mention again just how profound and genius the works of Hutz are: cutting edge animations, expert directing, superb and avant garde soundtracks. Truly a master of the crafts of so-called ""subversive"" or, perhaps, ""underground""
"""art"""". Creme-de-la-creme experimental art and sound or whatever the buzzwords are these days.
IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE WORKS OF HUTZ, PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF ASAP!!! ----->> hutz.rocks
As for the Bonnerland: Sentience soundtrack, sonically it is a stark contrast to the thoughtful ambient and atmospheric scapes of the William Drive Bus soundtrack (aka Selected Cromulent Works). This album has a much more panicked, chaotic feel to it than any of the other Bonnerland series soundtracks/albums. Which makes perfect sense considering that the entire soundtrack is algorithm generated MIDIs from old, cut up Bonnerland soundtracks!?!?!?! Fucking genius!!! This right here is some seriously intense future music shit! Similarly to the Bonnerland: Sentience animation itself, the soundtrack will trick your brain in to looking for and anticipating patterns and meaning where there absolutely is none. It is dark and scattered, yet very powerful. Truly an in depth look in to the farthest corners of the mind of Hommer Simpson. An absolutely profound and unique sonic experience. We encourage you to dive in and submerge yourself in to the audible world of Hutz and Bonnerland.
All love and praise to Hutz! We cannot wait to see what they come up with next.
