We are thrilled to release the debut album from Tulsa, OK mathy-punk (only genre we can think to classify them as) band, plastic psalms (former members of Skeleton Farm) ! ! ! This one is a serious ripper ! Laden with killer riffs, technical drumming, and thicc bass lines, it is exceptionally catchy and, for the most part, a super upbeat listen. BUT that isn't to say there isn't a huge amount of musical influences on here and some slower moments. You can hear tinges of styles from progressive and math rock to ambient, experimental and hardcore punk. If you are in to music that is able to walk the line between technicality (without being overburdened by it) and extremely catchy (without pandering), this is definitely the album for you. Best appreciated as a full listen straight through, the tracks transition in to one another fantastically and the production/recording quality is wonderful (well done, Rumian!). Like we said, A SERIOUS RIPPER !!!
