We are absolutely thrilled to be releasing this alongside our Floridian buddy label, Juice of Mango (a million shouts out to them! True DIY, underground legend!)

Crustgirls' magnum opus in a lot of ways.

Crustgirls is a harsh noise, power electronics, and dark ambient project based out of Daytona, Florida. He has been active under this moniker for around four years now, though has personally been involved in the "weird", underground, and "extreme music" scene for over a decade. This album is a massive, scathing attempt at capturing the essence of the Crustgirls project. What is presented is a harsh and dark look in to the mind and emotions of MJR. Unfriendly, isolated, depressive, angsty, and angry. 28 tracks of knife-meets-contact-mic, in-the-depths sound. Superstition and mysticism meets a pathetic reality and in-your-face violence. A heavy listen stemming from a deeply personal, unapproachable place. Absolutely not for cowards.

I've kept up with the Crustgirls project since around its origin but this is my personal favorite release of the alias. Not only do you get some of the best noise that Crustgirls has done but the album itself features a number of remixes and collab tracks from other notables within the "extreme" and "outsider" music community, with the names, Natty Gray (lol), Matthew Moyer, </Hush>, DEVTHMVTCH, Nervous Ghost, Rush Falknor, This Is Not Okay, Curse These Trembling Hands, and MOYO listed alongside several of the tracks. These remixes add a nice extra flavor to the album and introduces some other styles besides Crustgirls best known ones (PE, dark ambient, harsh noise). The album even ends with a fantastic live track of Crustgirls from the last year at arguably Orlando, FL's best DIY venue, Uncle Lou's. We are thrilled and extremely proud to be able to release and share this album with Juice of Mango.
