If you don't know Rumian, he is a crucial part of the Tulsa, Oklahoma and regional DIY scene, operating the record label, Passive Recordings, and running the Ph Community House (all-ages DIY venue) as his production group, The No Tulsa Sound. He has also been involved in a number of musical projects (Junfalls and Kanatia). However, this is the first album he has released under his own name.

The Amplifiers Sing is a fantastic blend of the sounds and styles of all of Rumian's past and present musical endeavors. The album features ten tracks spanning everywhere from experimental and
noise to progressive instrumental rock. Dark, harsh static and drone-y thrums will suddenly shift in to expertly crafted, dynamic songs that reveal influence from a wide variety of styles. The tracks flow from one to the next beautifully, I believe the ideal way of appreciating this album is to listen to it in one sitting. Strongly encourage checking this out.
