I don't even know where to begin with these two, but both are based out of Tulsa, OK.

yungsnickers was (the moniker has since been retired and the artist now goes by his own name, Tyler) a visual artist, rapper, beat maker/producer, and experimental project. He has been affiliated with a number of local rappers and experimental performers, most commonly, high art duo, Campbell and Gardner, rapper, Benzo, and the short lived rap group, Beatniks. He has been prominent in the local music and "events" scene for quite a while now and is truly an individual (the infamous Break the Knob parts 1 & 2 and Break the Floor, anyone?). Exceptionally creative and artistic, he has approached many different genres and is notorious for his experimental rapping styles and god tier adlibs. Looking back through his discography you would find a huge variety of artistic styles and influences, though his sounds are pure and original. His side of the split could be looked at as a sort-of "best of yungsnickers" to some extent, though really, a "best of yungsnickers" album would be closer to 40 tracks long if not even more.

BLACK GAMBIT is easily one of the most slept on producers and beat makers in the region. He originally sent me 60+ tracks for this split, ALL of which were absolutely heater. In fact, the only way for me to slim it down was to just randomly select tracks to prune off, as determining which should get priority on the split tape based on quality would take damn near forever to determine. He lies low, but BLACK GAMBIT has been active for years now and it shows in his endeavors. He also manages quite a diverse sound and his beats span everything from trap to emotional. If you are a rapper or need beats, he is definitely someone to reach out to.

Overall, this split SLAPS from beginning to end. Seriously. You'll listen to every track on this tape back to back, they all bang. DON'T SLEEP.
