Two of the midsouth's premier and most upcoming emo bands come together for an Okie split that is sure to satisfy any fan of the genre.

Raised by the OKC regional DIY house show scene, Ben Quad play a classic, midwestern style of emo. Twinkly, occasionally poppy, and extremely catchy. While My Heart & Liver are the Best of Friends, stemming from Tulsa's hardcore and punk scene, lean more on a grungier, punkier, more aggressive sounding style of the emotive genre. Together, the two projects really compliment each other and make for a fantastic split.

Two takes of the genre that go fabulously together on one cassette tape!

Both Oklahoma staples of the emo genre and both some of the midsouth, and even midwest's, most up and coming. We are thrilled and privileged to be the ones to finally be able to debut physical copies of their work.

Hoping to see more recorded material from both of these bands in the future!
