Cult Love is proud to present the return of prolific and versatile artist, Kalup Linzy, with his newest, aptly named album "Not Ready To Say Goodbye".

Kalup Linzy truly is not ready to say goodbye, presenting us with a stylistically diverse 16-track album spanning a little over an hour. All of Kalup's musical influences and history is present here: blues, pop, r&b, electronic, featuring contributions from some of Tulsa's best musical talent. With his trademark humorous and cheeky tints present in many of the songs, thematically, Kalup tackles topics such as heartbreak, loneliness, sex, and identity in his lyrics over diverse, tasteful and ever changing yet catchy instrumentals.

The album is a strong artistic and personal representation of Kalup as a whole and is important to recognize as a piece of art that is sensitive in its timing. With a wide range of practices and a rich history of experiences in the art scene and general limelight, Not Ready To Say Goodbye's title is literal in some sense and marks a pivotal point and mile stone in Kalup's career and life. What will likely in the future be argued as his potential musical magnum opus, Not Ready To Say Goodbye captures and embodies his sonic past while looking towards the future and asks a hopeful "what is next". For an artist that has done so much and in so many ways over the span of his life, this can be a challenging and existential question, but Not Ready To Say Goodbye's release promises a continued fruitful and fulfilling future for the artist, Kalup Linzy.
